What a stay involves

Guests meet at the camp’s departure point on National Road 48 and continue upriver by boat into Botum Sakor National Park. Days are spent on guided treks and kayaking, with boat trips on the river; the camp describes working with Wildlife Alliance rangers who protect the surrounding forest. Nights are in safari-style tents by the river.

The three-day Trekker package suits most visitors; the four-day Explorer package adds a guided trip to more remote areas.

Getting there and away

The departure point is about 242 km from Phnom Penh by road, so most guests travel by private car in the morning. Afterwards, the coast and Kampot are within reach for a slower finish; see the Kampot and Kep day. For a simpler, village-based alternative in the same forest, see Chi Phat.
