From first message to a plan in writing
You tell us what you want from Cambodia. We work out a realistic route, check the providers for your dates, and send one written proposal. You decide when you have seen everything.
You tell us what you want from Cambodia. We work out a realistic route, check the providers for your dates, and send one written proposal. You decide when you have seen everything.

Dates, where you arrive, who is travelling, what you want to see and how you like to travel. We aim to reply within two working days.
A first view of what fits: which places, in which order, how long each road day is, and what we would leave out. We ask the questions that change the plan.
For your dates, we check each provider’s operating days, current prices, age and fitness rules, and payment and cancellation terms.
Your route day by day, one total price, who delivers each part, what is confirmed and what is pending, and how and when each part is paid.
Nothing is booked and you pay nothing until you decide. You can ask for changes as often as you need.

Nothing is booked, and you pay nothing, until you accept a proposal.
Cambodia Path plans the route, chooses and checks providers against clear standards, coordinates dates and transport, and writes your proposal. We are your point of contact for questions before and during the trip, by email.
Independent providers deliver each part: guiding, wildlife visits, accommodation, transport. Their own terms apply to their services, and your proposal shows those terms before you pay.
We plan routes, check each provider’s current days, prices and terms for your dates, and send written proposals that list how to book and pay each provider directly. We do not yet take bookings or payments ourselves; when that changes, we will say so here first.
We do not currently propose remote expeditions such as multi-day treks in Virachey National Park, or anything near the Thai border advisory zone.
Independent providers: for example the elephant sanctuary, the gibbon project, a community ecotourism project, a lodge, a driver. Your proposal names each one. Cambodia Path plans and coordinates; it does not operate tours or employ guides.
At present, proposals list each provider with how to book and pay them directly, often in US dollars and sometimes well in advance. We are preparing to take bookings ourselves; when we do, this page and every proposal will say so, with the terms, before you pay anything.
At present, planning and proposals are free. If that changes, we will say so here and tell you before any work starts.
No one honestly can. We choose experiences with the best realistic chances, such as a habituated gibbon family, and tell you what to expect.
Your proposal lists the contacts for each part of the trip. We answer email questions before and during your travels, but we do not offer a 24-hour emergency line, and our reply times are working days.
Share your dates, what you hope to see and how you like to travel. We reply with a first view of the route and, when you are ready, a written proposal with the price, what it includes and who provides each part of the trip.
